    The Early Childhood Music Association (ECMMA) strives “to further the advancement and development of music and movement education for young children” and “to foster a free exchange of expertise, ideas and experiences in the areas of music, movement and early childhood development” (ecmma.org). Affirming these stated goals are an impressive array of professional training events for members, and often for the wider local community, that continue under the auspices of ECMMA local chapters.
