    Introduction

Extensive searches failed to uncover an experimental study done with young children, from birth to eight years of age, regarding the connection between music and mathematics. The article under review provides a discussion on the effect of musical training and math processing with normal adults. Following a summary of this study, a second study will summarize a report of an early childhood curricular exploration where musical and mathematical activities were integrated.
