I have been a teacher for more years than I care to mention, but a single wish is on my lips, “If only I could have know when I first began teaching, what I know now.” Then I could have been that teacher my students would always remember for having taught them to look for patterns, to find relationships and connections. I would have sharpened their senses and inspired their curiosity. Leonardo da Vinci! How could one book hold so much revelation? I studied the title again; “How To Think Like Leonardo da Vinci: Seven Steps To Genius Every Day” by Michael J. Gelb (1998).
I turned the pages, my skin tingling with a desire to share my findings, and to put them into teacher preparation courses…
