Dr. Sally A. Monsour-Hall
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of Dr. Sally A. Monsour-Hall, a leader in the field of music education throughout the latter half of the 20th century. Originally from Nebraska, Dr. Monsour held degrees from Manhattanville College (Purchase, New York), Columbia University (New York City), and received a doctorate in music education from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). In addition to teaching general and choral music in public schools in Florida and Michigan, she assumed faculty positions at Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida), the University of Michigan, and the University of Colorado (Boulder).
