    CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

    Perspectives: The Journal of the Early Childhood Music & Movement Association invites graduate students to submit research-based essays pertaining to early childhood music and/or movement to its Graduate Student Essay Competition.

    ECMMA seeks to promote the best practices in all areas of early childhood music and movement for the good of children, birth through age seven (www.ecmma.org).

     

    ELIGIBILITY

    The competition is open to graduate students studying topics pertaining to music and/or movement and early childhood (see topics and definitions). Competitors may only submit one essay.

     

    TOPICS AND DEFINITIONS

    Competitors may choose from any topic pertaining to early childhood music and/or movement. For the purpose of this competition, early childhood is defined as pre-birth to age seven. The topic will be of the competitor’s choice, but it must be relevant to current or evolving practices or issues.
